Our family practice provides integrated care to people in the community who have specific needs around substance use/abuse and mental health. We combine treatment services with medical care and case management to address the whole person. We accept all major insurance plans and Medicaid/Medicare. We are also contracted with Partners BHM, Vaya Health, Sandhills, and Alliance. Our clinic is featured in Psychology Today and we’re an SAMHSA approved treatment provider.

Welcome to Southern Family Medicine
We focus on whole person care at our Mooresville & Mocksville locations. We offer a variety of integrative care services including substance use/abuse, mental health services and psychiatric treatment. We also offer a host of ancillary care services including diabetic screening, strep, mono and flu testing, hepatitis C screening with Level 1 and 2 treatment. We also offer seasonal flu shots and COVID-19 testing.
Additionally, we offer laboratory services, urine analysis, drug screening, psychiatric medication management for children and adults, medically assisted substance abuse treatment, case management, outpatient counseling and much more.

Our professional team of Medical Directors, Physicians, Mid-level Medical Providers and Therapists are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and excellent service to Southern Family Medicine patients. Our entire team is standing by ready to care for you. Collectively, we provide comprehensive medical care to residents in Mooresville and Mocksville as well as surrounding areas.
We accept most major insurance carriers including Medicaid & Medicare. We have been awarded grant money for people who do not have insurance and are in need of medically assisted substance abuse treatment, as well as financial assistance for those needing behavioral health treatment.

IN-HOUSE LABORATORY
We’re one of the few comprehensive care clinics with an in-house lab, allowing us to save you time and money by expediting our personalized care efforts. Our lab services include: A1C, Urine Analysis, Hepatitis C, HIV screening, Drug Testing, genetic and wellness panels, and many more!
Substance Abuse Facility
We provide Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) using buprenorphine products including Suboxone and Subutex as well as Vivitrol and Sublocade.
Multi-Specialty Integrative Care
We provide our patients with whole person care that supports their medical needs and provides support when coordinating care with other providers.
